This classic blue haven pool in the suburbs of Riverside, California was something special. It was found by my good friend Riverside Steve, the home belonged to the pastor at his church which is why we called it the Pastor Bowl. It was available to us for skating for 1-2 years before they started swimming in it again. The pool's deep end had about as perfect of a bowl as you could get, but the transitions fell away on the side walls pretty quickly and into the shallow. Perfectly set standard bull nose coping that grinded well.
